VOLUNTEER Briefs sewing
Got some time between 9:00am and 5:00pm? Join us to sew briefs that will be donated to The Wellington City Mission's Social Supermarket.
To sign up, just ‘purchase’ the volunteer session at your preferred date(s).
September and October dates are 2-day volunteer sessions and November is a one day session. After signing up, let us know what time slot suits you 9am-2:30pm or 9am-5pm.
It’s a great opportunity to brush up on your sewing skills, meet like-minded people, and make a real difference in our community. Come along solo or bring a group of friends or colleagues.
Each session needs six volunteers to run, so we’d love to have you on board. Basic sewing skills are required.
Supporting each other
Nisa's mission is to employ women from refugee and migrant backgrounds. For many, Nisa is the first step towards a long and fulfilling career in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Every Nisa garment is sewn sustainably in the Nisa Workshop in Wellington, our capital city.
