VOLUNTEER Briefs sewing
Got some spare time? Enjoy sewing? Want to brush up on some skills or learn new ones?
Join us to sew briefs that will be donated to The Wellington City Mission's Social Supermarket.
To sign up, just ‘purchase’ the volunteer session at your preferred date(s).
It’s a great opportunity to brush up on your sewing skills, meet like-minded people, and make a real difference in our community. Come along solo or bring a group of friends or colleagues.
Each session needs six volunteers to run, so we’d love to have you on board. Basic sewing skills are required.
Supporting each other
Nisa's mission is to employ women from refugee and migrant backgrounds. For many, Nisa is the first step towards a long and fulfilling career in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Every Nisa garment is sewn sustainably in the Nisa Workshop in Wellington, our capital city.
